New natural gas reserves discovered in Sindh | Life TV Online

Pakistan Petroleum has discovered new natural gas reserves in Sindh. A letter sent by the PPL to the Pakistan Stock Exchange states that these new gas reserves have been discovered from the Jagan One well in Latif Block, Sindh Province. Pakistan Petroleum owns 33% of the said block while ENI Pakistan and UEPL also have 33% and 33% partners in this block. The letter states that natural gas has been discovered after digging 11,350 feet of the well. 12.6 MMCFD gas has been obtained in the sand zone "B" of the well. The sand zone "C" of this well is producing 13.7 mmcfd of gas. The discovery of gas is due to aggressive drilling by the company.
