The National Command and Operations Center has announced a ban on rail travel without vaccination from October 1. A meeting of the National Command and Operations Center was held under the chairmanship of Federal Minister for Planning Asad Umar in which the situation of Corona in the country and Vaccination Nation for its prevention were considered. The meeting expressed concern over the growing prevalence of Corona in the country and especially in Rawalpindi and Peshawar and directed the concerned units to implement Corona SOPs. The meeting decided that from October 1, 2021, only vaccinated citizens will be able to travel on the railways. During the meeting, the steps to be taken in view of the arrival of Muharram were also considered. The Forum expressed satisfaction with the vaccination process and called for steps to be taken to ensure timely implementation of the second dose of vaccination.
